Messages (or PM "Personal Message") are a way of communicating privately between users. A message containing a maximum of 3000 characters can be sent to a user of choice. This user can read the message and reply. This feature can be found behind the "messages" link in the top right of every page.

Messages do not expire and there is no limit to the number of messages one can have in the inbox.
