In Minions, towers are stationary objects that defend the base (which is also a tower) by firing shots. Towers have relatively low rates of fire and do medium amounts of damage. They also have very large amounts of health, although their health cannot be regained, unlike the minions. Towers are not upgraded as the game progresses, so they are easier to destroy later in the game as players level up. Each team starts with five towers: a base tower, two wall towers, and two front towers.

Front Towers

The front towers have the lowest health and will do 30 damage per shot not factoring armor. These towers will usually be overrun first by minions when the game begins.

Wall Towers

The wall towers have higher health than the front towers and are smaller, but they do the same amount of damage as the front towers. These towers will most likely be destroyed after the four front towers of both teams are destroyed.

Base Towers

The base tower has the highest health and will do 40 damage per shot not factoring armor. However, it is also the largest, so it is easiest to target. The base's armour gets lower and lower as the other four towers are destroyed, so if all four other towers are destroyed, the base will be much easier to defeat. When a base tower is destroyed, the game ends and the team that destroyed that tower wins.

Strategies

One of the general strategies for destroying towers is taking turns getting hit by the bullets. Unless your team has a Splodge(in which case he would probably take most of the hits), it is generally a good practice to only allow a teammate to only get to about 1/3 to 1/4 health before moving closer to the tower so that it targets yourself. This allows the teammate to continue to help attack the tower, instead of running away to keep from dying.

Another slightly more complicated tower strategy involving Cutter, is to attack the tower from a corner instead of from a side. This distances Cutter from the tower enough so that a Mini-minion, or a teammate, can take tower hits for you.
