All 3 Levels of A THEL
A THEL is a
Tactical High Energy Laser. Orange in appearance, it is one of the options for upgrading the
Basic Laser, with the
pulser being the other. It uses a lot of energy, but it does a lot of damage to a target ship. The damage increases the longer the laser is being fired at the target. It takes a few seconds to retarget to another ship after the targeted one is destroyed. As long as the structure has targeted a ship, it will not change its target. You cannot choose which ship you want the THEL to target.
Level 1 THEL

- Energy: 5
- Range: 200m
- Damage: 1
- Recycle value: 350 Minerals
- Cost to upgrade from basic laser: 500 minerals
Level 2 THEL
- Health: 600
- Energy: 10
- Range: 290m
- Damage: 5
- Recycle value: 750 minerals
- Cost to upgrade from previous level: 800 minerals
Level 3 THEL
- Health: 960
- Energy: 17
- Range: 390m
- Damage: 10
- Recycle value: 1250 minerals
- Cost to upgrade from previous level: 1000 minerals
