A sheriff is a type of rank in a club on the Casual Collective. The creator of a club becomes a sheriff, but one can also be made sheriff if another club Sheriff allocates the user as one of the following:

• Set private club access key
• Kick / Ban club members
• Manage widgets
• Alter club description and tags
• Add / remove deputies
• Add /remove sheriffs
• Add /remove forum boards

Note that if someone is given one of the above rights, they automatically gain all the deputy abilities.

Sheriffs are able to perform different administrative tasks within the club. For instance, a Sheriff with the ability to manage widgets can add or remove the shoutbox to the homepage.
