Help:Games
From CC Wiki
On this page a variety of problems that might occur is discussed and possible solutions are offered.
Failure To Load
If the download progress bar reaches 100% and the game does not start, it may be because you have software that is blocking required elements of the game. To rule out this cause of the problem, ensure that any ad blockers are disabled and then try loading the game again. EX.things such as adblock+ on mozilla firefox or no script (its a real bugger if you constantly forget about it) or you can constantly refresh the page and than rule out the fact that its not gonna work.

Desync
Desyncs are caused by your version of the game becoming out of sync with the other players. This causes your game to be disconnected in order to ensure that the other players are not affected.
Possible causes of a desync include:
- No game is 100% error free and sometimes errors can manifest themselves as sync problems.
- Rarer machines such as Power PC Macs and certain Linux distributions can sometimes cause the game to get out of sync. Try a different machine.
- Multiplayer games are sensitive to congestion on your connection. Try playing with only one Internet browser open and do not download anything in the background.
- The Flash player itself can sometimes be the cause of the problem. Try installing the latest version of the Flash Player and/or restarting your machine.
- Someone in your game has hacked.
Unable to Connect
Multiplayer games need to connect to a server in order to share information between players. Sometimes computers are configured in such a way that they block the game's connection to the server.
Possible causes include:
- Anti-virus and Internet security applications have been known to cause issues. If you have those type of apps, go to the settings and look for a 'white-list' or 'authorised list' or 'access list' and add *.casualcollective.com
- The Flash player itself can sometimes be the cause of the problem. Try installing the latest version of the Flash Player and/or restarting your machine.
- A device called a Firewall can stop the communication between the game and our server. If you are aware of such a device please allow through port 8080. PortForward.com provides instructions on how to open ports on your firewall or router.
