Desktop Armada 2

Desktop Armada 2 is a possible feature game on the Casual Collective. It will be both a single and multi player naval warfare game. All the familiar ships in Desktop Armada will be included as well as the addition of a submarine and aircraft carrier. It will be possible to change the speed of any ship in play as well as to equip ports with guns or increase their production speeds. The single player game will have a much improved AI for skirmishes and the multi player version will allow for customizing of ships. Team co-op and team head-to-head modes are also being considered.
Desktop Armada 2 was announced on the CC Blog, including most of the details mentioned above. In July 2009 however, Grrr said "DA2 is dead in the water atm" in the beta testers group, after questions about its status.
