Cobras versus Mongooses

Cobras versus Mongooses is a meme on the Casual Collective. It all started when cobracommander started a club called COBRA organization; people started to mock him and call him names. People made names that had "cobra" in it, such as samcobra or cobracommanderfan. Then, vandall had the idea to start a new club all about mongooses. This was also the first time well-known member TProd was recognized, as he was vandall's assisstant and "official comic relief" of the club, eventually taking control of all operations. The war had started. The two clubs started recruiting members from all the corners of the Collective, and some were trained to be spies in other club. The spies' jobs were to gather information about the cobras/mongooses, and give the information to the mongooses/cobras.

TProd and the COBRA leader (at the time) Smokey got into a heated argument where TProd got fed up with the pointlessness of the War and quit Mongoose. Eventually, Smokey saw what TProd was talking about and left COBRA. The War, however, ensued.

Finally, after having his woman stolen and being fired as a DJ, CBN interceded, which eventually led to a peace treaty being signed by TProd, vandall, cobracommander, kiwi, Smokey, CBN, SniperofDoom, and jojo66.

How Often Is It Seen Today?

This could hardly even be called a meme, as it is almost never mentioned anymore. Many people saw it as more of an annoyance.
