Casual Collective Plus

The Casual Collective plus (CC+) is a GreaseMonkey script maintained by t2t2 and kiko. It enhances the user's experience on the Casual Collective by adding numerous features to the site.

WARNING: Casual Collective Plus is maintained by the users of site, and is not supported by The Casual Collective. Greasemonkey scripts can be dangerous to your account if you install scripts from untrusted sources. The latest version of CC+ can always be found in the Casual Collective Plus club news posts.

Origins

GreaseMonkey scripts for the Casual Collective originated to add content to the infamous "white space" on the side of the old website layout.

Features Overview

• Theme directory: This is a directory of all theme's made by users on the CC, to make a theme you only need to know CSS knowledge and your own pictures.
• Hide things in the news feed: This option lets you remove any type of notification from the feed. Tired of seeing game scores? Shouts in clubs? Just want to see friend's tweets? Just choose which ones you do and don't want to see!
• Stop tabs from turning orange: This feature allows you to remove the orange notification on some or all pages. Are your club updates distracting you from Minions?
• Quick games jumper: This gives you a quick access link to every game on the CC (including links to the beta tester games!). This is more full-featured than the official CC one, and you don't even need a Gold Membership!

• Take notes in the Notes tab: When your note tab is empty of alerts, you have a notepad to take and save notes on your game high scores, or just jot down your thoughts. Plus you can save them for later!
• Linkify: Tired of copy and pasting url's people post but don't link? Well this script automatically turns all URL's into handy one-click links so you can easily check them out.
• Message sorter: Sort through all your messages by a particular friend's name so you can easily see what they sent you.
• Minions Tracker: Integration of the Minions Tracker so you don't have to visit that site every time to update your minions games.
• txtPaste: Adds a button to TinyMCE editor for pasting format-less text.
• I reject you, server! Attempt to fix CC radio popup thinking it's off air by not removing the widget. Screenshot of it in effect
• Timezone estimation: Attempts to guess user's local time according to the set location.

• Hotkey combos: Assign URLs to Hotkey combinations.
• Invite all: Adds a button to quickly invite all of your friends. However do not abuse it, as your friends might not like it.
• Gift Gird: Displays gifts in a gird, allowing better display of all of them.

• Fix sidebar avatars: Fixes a bug which resulted in sidebar avatars being outdated. Requires a "redraw" after activation (friend changing status/joining/leaving games, or just reloading the page)

Past features

• Import graphs into profiles: This feature sticks the points progress graph onto the bottom of everyone's profiles for you to easily glance at. CC+ had a user profile graph before there was an official one on the Casual Collective! Removed as it stopped working, may return again.
• Custom header: This gives you a whole new menu button linking to the "profiles" page. Here you can browse through the members or check out the top 100 players on the site! Removed as it didn't play well after header update (to 4 items)
• Chat windowizer: Pop your chatrooms out in to separate windows to access more rooms at once and avoid leaving rooms accidentally! Just make sure you have popups enabled on this site. Removed as it was kind of implemented by Casual Collective, may make a comeback.

Version 34

N.B unoffical summery. Adds a feature that swaps the About Us page for the Compete page, and the Jobs page, for the Listen page.

Version 33

No formal summery of these cahnges have been posted either. A possible reason for this update is that that the theme severs have been moved.

Version 32

This version has been realeased. T2t2 has not posted a formal summery of the changes yet. The two main features of this feature is the removal of the alpha/beta feature of the game jumper and changes to make the firefox version more similar to the Chrominum version

Version 31

• Timezone estimation works again!
• Compete page! I included the most I can from CC Extas.net.
• Theme directory has moved servers over to my little site. The first change you can see that now, when you search, it searches by username too.

Version 30

New Features:

• My Game - Adds a button to the Multiplayer games page to show information about the game you are in
• GiftGird - Shows a gird view of gifts on "View all" page
• Fix sidebar avatars - Fixes avatars in sidebar (and possibly some other bugs as result of being outdated)

Version 29

• Attempt to fix Timezone estimation script for a small amount of users.
• Reworked "Stop tabs from turning orange" for better co-operation with themes and more dynamic control (on-off switch). Feel free to give feedback on this new style as in last survey it was one of the lowest-rated features.
• Added "Invite All".

Version 28

• Global:
  • Added version information to theme directory
  • The look of features list updated, now you can see description under the name.
  • Added manual theme update method for people who can't wait a day >.>
• New features:
  • An attempt to fix radio jumping in and out, by not making it disconnect when server thinks it's off air
  • Feature: txtPaste - Paste text into editor without any formatting. (Click on the little icon on far-right side)
  • Feature: Timezone estimation - Estimates user's timezone using google maps location.
  • Added a bunch of CoolPerson1414 scripts (There will be more, this was a rushed release)
• Changes:
  • Restyled notebook a little.
  • Hide items in the news feed: Gifts now hide both sending and receiving of gifts.
  • Games tab: Made game icon sizes smaller (65px width), added alpha games (No, you can't access them if you're not an alpha tester)

Version 27

Version 26

• Added Minions Tracker integration.

Version 25

• Chat windowizer can now be disabled properly
• Removed the % display from header since it's no longer needed.

Version 24 and lower

• This was before the introduction of ajax on the site. So these versions are trivial.

Chromium Version

A version especially adapted for Google Chrome users was introduced at the end of April 2010. It featured everything CC+ normally has except for the theme directory. On June 12, 2010, a new version was introduced that contains the theme directory. It installs as a Chrome extension file.
